User Sign-up

Every visitor for the Curation Central site can browse or search Curation Central records in order to retrieve information about the current curation status of a particular publication. However, interactive features of the site, such as submitting curation requests or uploading data attachments, are available only to registered users who signed up and then activated their account.

In order to sign up for Curation Central account:

  • Click on the Sign up link

  • Fill out the registration form fields. NOTE: Please use your real email address - the account can be activated only by following instructions sent to the address you provide

  • Read the terms of use and, provided you agree, check the terms of use box

  • Demonstrate you are a human being by solving re-captcha (NOTE: recaptcha style might change between Curation Central releases)

  • Click on the Submit button

You will be notified about account creation by email sent to the address you provided. The automatically generated notification message will contain activation code necessary for the account activation. Please, make sure to check your spam and junk folders in case the notification message does not appear in your inbox within a couple of minutes - it might be treated as spam by your email provider.

In order to activate Curation Central account:

  • Follow to the Activation Page.

  • Fill up the activation form fields. Use the activation key sent to you by email
